Kettlebell Workshop

Kettlebells are an extremely space-efficient tool for adding external resistance to your training regime at home, and can be used to dramatically expand your options for working out when you can’t make it to the gym.

Getting the most out of this tool requires using it properly – which is where we come in. CrossFit Ireland is hosting a Kettlebell Workshop on Saturday 5th November 2011, with the goal of teaching you enough about them for you to use them effectively in your home workouts.

We’re going to focus on getting the basics right, and the majority of the workshop will be spent on learning:

  • The Swing
  • The Goblet Squat
  • The Turkish Getup
  • The Snatch

All of which are easy to do, yet difficult to master.

We will also be providing you with your choice of kettlebell, a selection of sample workouts, and the oppurtunity to participate in a sample Crossfit-style kettlebell workout. This last porition of the workshop is completely optional, but highly encouraged.

The total duration of the workshop will be 1.5 hours, and will cost €50 + the price of your kettlebell (options are: 12kg, 16kg and 24kg).

This workshop is being run in conjunction with BuyKettleBellDublin.com

Our next workshop is on Saturday, November 5th, 2011.
