  1. My shoulders feel like jelly. Can’t wait to put some weight overhead. That should solve the problem. My Excel ‘excuse file’ seems to have corrupted and I can’t come up with anything. Eamonn a little help? ;-)

  2. Final call for the BBQ for anyone who hasn’t signed up via facebook of on the blog (here!)

Please let us know so we can get numbers to Leonie!

    Thanks,
    Colm

  3. Sometimes I just have to go with and admit “I’m a weak performer” if I can’t think of anything good.

  4. I’m uncomfortable with the suggestion that your other excuses are “good”, Eamonn.

  5. Ahh more squats. Excellent. I was starting to think that my quads weren’t quite sore enough. I was almost able to stand up from my desk unaided so it must be time for more.
This workout fills me with a horrible sense of deja vu.

I’m going with jet lag for my excuse.

  6. Crossfit Ireland: You may not be able to walk by the time we’re done with you, but dammit you’ll be able to squat.

  7. Damn me an my weak phone responses , just agreed to do the 5k run and my previous max was 3k….just tried 5k during lunch and am now slumped over my desk….please call and ask me again

  8. after last squating session someone said i looked “lame” walking- i responded saying his face looked lame

  9. I’m sorry Ross but we must accept your first response. We’ll see you Saturday.

  10. As long as you don’t try and keep pace with the lieutenant it’ll be a jaunt in the park!

  11. In sympathy for you sore-leg folks I just squatted 150kgx5, then got a little volume in with 110kgx21 afterwards (weighing in @ 80kg today). I’ll be limping around with the rest of you shortly.

  12. See Will, it’s posts like that that make people not like you and your ridiculously strong ways!

  13. hey Will, do me a favour and do that about 9 on saturday morning and i’ll try and keep up with you on the run then! otherwise i can see it being along morning
