Why I Do Not Dig Diet Soda – Pilar Gerasimo
The Fight To Look Good Naked – Norcal S&C

Right so I had a look at that fish oil calculator in yesterday’s link and it prescribes 8 teaspoons per day. I usually just take 2-ish (often drunk straighht frm the bottle. Yes, that’s gross, I know.) Does that seem like a lot to anyone else? How much do you all take?
Haven’t rowed 500m since December so it will be interesting to see if that has improved. Hopefully this time I will not fall off the rower.
I had a look at that too Louise. What factor have you entered? A factor of 0.5 (healthy, fit) recommends me 8 tsp a day while a factor of 1 recommends 16 tsp per day.
I was taking 2 – 3 tablespoons of fish oil anyway before I saw this link. 1 tablespoon = 3 teaspoons so google tells me so I was along the right track anyway.
According to the calculator, I should be taking 12!!! That’s a lot of lemony oily goodness.
E
I put in 0.75 on the basis that I do eat grains, sugar and average 6 hours sleep. I guess I’ll try and up it a bit, it just seems like a lot to me.
15ml morning and evening doesn’t seem too excessive. Mackarel according to Colum has a high DHA/EPA content, also good grass fed steak will help towards this.
It should also be noted that once you’ve been on the fish oil for a while, you can lower the amounts. Mr Wolf alludes to this in one of his podcasts.
Might want to put a NSFW tag on ‘The Fight To Look Good Naked – Norcal S&C’ there Colm!!
yep theres an M & S precooked smoked mackerel that has around 10ml EPA/DHA per 140g pack. thats the robb wolf recommended amount for a 200lb healthy person. (0.5 factor). Eat that in a day= no fish oil…
Oops! Sorry about that chief, reading things mainly from Google Reader before they go up!

Jaypers Im only a newbie but that row tonight was tough… Lightheaded craziness… Lovin it…
Dominic, it was all three times, but we’re only posting people’s best time. We’d expect people to record their 3 times in their training logs.
