  1. My diet is definitely definitely better than normal, but still far from perfect. To be honest the last two days have been a bit of a struggle. I was ravenous all day Wednesday. I haven’t recovered properly from Monday at all. It’s unlike me to still be in pain 4 days after a workout so I wonder if the change in nutrition has slowed my recovery (albeit temporarily). I’m going to stick with it and hope that my body adapts and I feel better next week. I’m heading over to my folks in Glasgow (home of the deep-fried .. well everything) for the weekend which should be a challenge. I don’t want to cheat so I think I’ll end up doing a lot of the cooking. I’m out for dinner on Saturday so I’ll just have to try to make a sensible choice.

  2. I’d hate to be training with you guys tonight. That workout looks disgusting!!

  3. That workout gives me the fear. Why did I take a rest day yesterday? Legs were in bits that’s why.
I’m looking forward to this workout like being kicked in the groin repeatedly.

Diet is going well so far. Keeping it 100% Paleo which is good. I’m hungry a bit more though.
I’m not used to being hungry. I’ve noticed I never feel bloated any more and have lots of energy.
I seem to require less water intake too. I used to drink like 4L a day and now it’s more like 2-2.5L.
Maybe it’s because there’s no salt in my diet, I loved the oul salt.
I try to maintain my Paleo as close to Zone as possible but it’s far from perfect.
Still it’s better than all the white bread, chips, pizzas, crisps and other trash I survived on.

    I love you all,
    Aidan.

  4. Nutrition Challenge is going well, some second week (for me) forward planning regarding meals and pre-packing of snacks/lunches to bring to work the night before has saved me from that “shit, what am I going to eat?” moment before trying to hastily cobble together a less than adequate snack/meal from the offensivly expensive (for fruit) and bread-crazed canteen at work or the contents of a bare fridge.

Really enjoying it, and looking forward to eating new foods, try new recipies and to performing great.

Todays WOD looks tough. 50 burpees.. ouch!

  5. My eating is the same as it was the 2 months before. Which is fine. Real test is the weekend. Jagerbombs!!

  6. I’ve adjusted my diet to cut down on potentially bad stuff, although I’d say there’s still some snags in there. I feel better though, especially just after crossfit, tired but not drained for too long, especially If I get a steak into me ;)

An easy enough diet to maintain.

  7. Just an idea i had while looking at the main site St. Patricks day shirts, CFI should design one, im sure it would sell well being from the Emerald Isle and all that!
    I’ll settle for a 25% cut.

  8. Guys quick reminder, there’s roadworks scheduled for tomorrow so you probably will not have car access to CrossFit Ireland.

On Street parking is free on Saturdays so you’ll have to park there and walk in.

  9. WOD completed at home with 24Kg kettlebell (Russian). 45:51. Really hell.

  10. Paul 10 pints is usually considered a snag. Just incase you didn’t know ;)

  11. Tough tough workout.
    Nearly puked.
Nothing like being egged on by Crossfit staff and members to the point of vomiting.
    Thanks for the support guys!
