Hey David S, completely agree with you. When you push yourself that much regularly it becomes the norm.

If you mean split up the exercises Jeff that'd be a negatory. You have to do all 100 pullups before going to Pushups and so on. Gonna take a while.

Since I won't be around for the WOD today I thought I’d leave you guys with something that gives me motivation day in and day out. It's a phrase I borrowed from a friend in the states who did crew in college. His boat was trying to qualify for nationals and when describing how demanding their training was going to be his coach talked about getting to that point where you're working out and pushing yourself and you start getting tunnel vision-everything is going white and your body is screaming at you to stop and how important it is not to give in and fight through. Instead of getting to that point 1-2 per month he was going to ask them to go there a couple times per week. He referred to it as "owning your house of blindness."
From this my friend derived the latin phrase Devinco Domus Cacitudo to embody this struggle. This means taking that moment when every inch of your body is telling you to quit, fighting your way through it and winning the mental battle. Just F-ING OWN that moment and give it your all.

The reason I thought of this is because I was reflecting on last nights workouts. I have it written on my shoe as a reminder and it jumps right out at me rowing/deadifting. It definitely helped me get mentally centered during rounds 5-6 of the Tabata Row. You have to find what works for you but I hope this helps someone. (That and the song Bleed It Out by Linkin Park which I think should definitely make it onto the playlist at the gym)
