Ring dips and burpees. Ouch! Its going to be a slow slow time on these for me. Its pretty cool to see everyone sign up to the forums and have a peek at everyones trainin and food logs.
Yeah it’s starting to feel a little less like I’m just talking to myself the past few days. I can now reach more people with my moaning and excuses.
I can confirm that this is a horrible WOD, ouch!

I’ve a set of rings from gymnastics bodies at home, best ones I’ve used so far. Surface is pitted for better friciton in the false grip (requires less chalk), the ring can rotate freely (which is just cool) and the end of the strap has a tapered cut for inserting it into the buckle. This last point is highly important if you’re going to be putting up and taking down your rings everytime you use them – it will save you about 90 seconds of messing per buckle. Could add up to dozens of extra hours in your life over the course of a few years.
Need a heap more practice at ring dips. Tough even with my elastic buddy.
