I made a kilogramme of macadamia nut butter once, very easy to do with a half decent food processer. Ate it all in about 2 days. Didn't bother doing that again.

Thumbs up for almond butter, it's awesome, but as Garvan said above be very careful, so very easy to go overboard with the stuff!

I also think that article sounds like a load of crap, more myths being pushed as fact! Silly stuff!

Good discovery from Pixie. Almond butter!

Dropped by dundrum and picked up a jar in the health shot. having studied the label and doing a little bit of calculations it works out at pretty much exactly 3g per block. also it's messy stuff so the only way to really calculate how much i was getting out of the jar was to put the jar on the scales and zero it take out a spoonful and if it says, say, "-12g" then you know you've taken out 3blocks of fat.

It'd be pretty easy to go overboard with this stuff. i took out a spoonful as suggested by Pixie and it worked out at 16blocks of fat so careful now (down with that sort of thing)

this stuff is also cheap as chips
