Man, I tanked in the last workout. Despite that I had a great day. Cheers to everyone especially my spotters – Tony, Bobby and Louise (even Louise who kept saying “HEELS”) oh and to Tom for not once trying to have me thrown out.
Shane, The
Savage day, Cheers to Pixie, Lisa, and Stephen for spottin’ and all for organising. Good to chat to the heads again too. Time for beer, steak and cheesecake!
Savage day guys. Thanks for everything.
Big thanks to Colm, Will and Tom for organising it, Amy for keeping the heats moving smoothly and Tony, Will and Special K for the encouragement/abuse during the WODs. (I’d thank the girls for the food, but there was no way I was gonna try and keep anything solid down!!).
Congrats to Dave S. and Dominic as well. I definitely wouldn’t have placed where I did without the push from them.
Actually, while I’m at it, thanks to everyone for the cheering during the last round of kbell swings. I think I was pretty much out on my feet at that stage, but the big wall of noise really kept me going!!
Roll on tonight!!
Great day. thanks Colm, Will and Tom for organisations. Thanks to Amy for scores and stuff. Tanks to spotters Steve, Lisa and Eamonne for spotting and all the great crowd for shouting and encouragement. now its time to get pissed!!
Amro
Well done to Colm, Will and Tom for organising, hosting and running the 3rd Invitational, the first of many I’m sure in the new premises at Sandyford.
Congrats Dave,James, Dominic, Gillian, Dee and Lisa who all made the Podium.
Also, congrats to everyone else who took part and supplied encouragement and cup cakes.
Outstanding scores everyone, still gutted I couldn’t attend. Next time for sure.
Guys the camera is up in CFI so I’ll update the post tomorow when I’m back there.
If you’re sore/stiff tomorrow feel free to call down, foam roll, do mobility work and share tales from Saturday.
Thanks everyone for an absolutely cracking day!! Still having difficulty sitting down/ standing up/ walking/ moving in general but it was so worth it.
Major kudos to everyone doing the organising and to Amy for keeping it all running smoothly on the day (we all know who the real boss is there
)
Hopefully see lots of you again soon!
