Pretty impressive figures outta Special K there, could he be worth betting on for the Invitational? Odds anyone?
The smart money is on Pat, he is in serious shape at the moment. Absolutely killing WOD’s these days. Its not fair, i used to kick his ass back when he was a fat bodybuilder!
Re the photo, whers’s Wally?
Ger,
Make sure you and Pat get your registration into us then!
Jeff,
I can’t tell you Where’s Wally, that’s just cheating!
Is that 32 intervals for the WOD :-O
Colm, Im registered, ill add a photo later.
Eve- Think its just 8 intervals, those four exercises twice…..i could be wrong though???
Is it my imagination or did they do 16 intervals with the wallball/kb swing wod last week? Sure felt like it anyway.
Yeah I think it’s those four exercises x 4? 7:50 total time. Unless they go easy on us and just do it twice.
Eve’s right, 32 intervals, 15 minutes, 50 seconds work.
Easy on us. Yeah roysh!
15 minutes 50 seconds!?!? what is this a marathon.
Complete 8 Tabata Intervals of Pull Ups, then 8 intervals of push presses, then 8 intervals of jumping squats, then 8 intervals of hang power cleans.
Niiiiiiicccecce!!!!
actually after training with pat and ger in cork not so long ago i’d say betting on pat would be safe enough money
Hi all,
My brother’s band, Calico Jak (calicojak.com)wfs, have got a chance at a battle of the bands tonight.
Grand prize is worth €9000, trip to Portugal and recording time with a record bigwig. His band are great and really deserve this. The judging is based on a clapometer so it’d be great if you could all come along and support him, tonight at 8pm at the King Kong club, upstairs in the Village on Wexford street. It’s free in and beer is cheap. It’ll also be a great chance to catch up. I hope to see you there

Colm I’m behind the big yellow weight. Thats me holding it in the white top.
what weight is the hang power clean?…
It was 35kg and now i’m gonna go sit in a dark room until this urge to vomit goes away
Betting on Pat from Cork is always a safe bet. I registered today too
Arrgh, now I’m going to have to re-introduce my body to metcons before this thing comes around.
That was pretty tough, I’m well and truly shagged after it. I think I need to start eating breakfast, been skipping that a few mornings last week and this week and I can say that I’m not at 100%
