  1. Splits 3:49/8:16/12:53/17:00 turns out I’m an idiot and can’t judge 200m (my excuse is the road has bends). When i measured the run at the end it was 340 strides to the turn around point which equates to 680 strides per round which at a guess I’d say is a bit more than 400m. Anyway I’ve discovered doing this stuff on your own is no fun, my legs were on fire for most of it.
    I also thought the squats would be easy, turns out that running before hand makes them a lot harder – who would have known – man I am an idiot – not quite FML but close – Now for a beer and more mince pies

  2. well, just looked at the blog for the first time in a few days and am blown away by the awsomeness of the new location. like ruairi, i too can drop up during my breaks at work.

    didnt do any training since the 22nd due to uber gay man flu.

  3. Ugh, air squats, probably the last thing I wanna do and I fee so heavy that running should be interesting. I’ll report back!

  5. That was a horrible WOD, but I did get to try out my new SKINS so that definitely made me at least a minute faster, I also had new shorts and knee socks, I was quite the fancy man! :D

    But yeah 15:15 as rx’d., was horrible and for the first time in a long time I fell down after the WOD finished and literally couldn’t either get up or walk for another 15 minutes after that, ugh, damn you mince pies and your delicious awesomeness!!

  6. First look at site in a fair few days. Fab news on the new location. Let us know if you are putting a day together for a general tidy up etc

    Hope everyone is having a great Christmas. I’m nearly at the stage where I am fed up eating ‘rubbish’ and the feeling of blobbiness is definitely coming on :-)

    Forgot the site where putting up at home workouts. Had an idea for myself today. Will try and find somewhere to run.
