Voting for the CrossFit Ireland Awards 2009 is now open!! This is all a bit of craic to be had with the Kris Kindles on Saturday. From speaking to the guys last night it seems an early gift exchange suits people better, that way they still have the day. What do people think of regular WoD at 10, secret santa at 11am? If anyone wants to train/lift at 12 afterwards they’re more than welcome.
For the night, what are people’s suggestions? How many are heading out? What time would you like to meet, etc?

Quick note on the Awards.
Best Attitude would be the person who has the best approach to the workouts. Either they look forward to the challenge, accept it with a sense of purpose, or try and break it down into a system. Whatever you think the best approach is.
Club Spirit is the guy/gal who brightens up your CFI experience the most, and makes the box a better place to be in.
Hope that clears it up.

Can you vote for yourself in any given catergory?
Yep ! On for saturday. Meet in town 8/9ish ? My suggestion was the Dandelion bar as it has a cocktail bar and a disco downstairs.
Though haven’t been in a long while, so not sure what it is like these days.
Yes Paddy, you can vote for yourself. Heck, you can even vote twice!!
no idea were the Dandelion bar is Sue , if we all Vote for ourself i reckon we all win
I’m on for Saturday, from what I’ve noticed Dandelion has quite a few English hen parties in it these days Sue, it might be a bit rough?
The market bar is fun and big enough not to be too packed or O’Donoghue’s if people want pints?
Dandelion, top of grafton street/stephens green. I’m on for Sat!
Colm left my water bottle up the gym last night it has Bord Gais written on it if you can put it away for me cheers
Is the Market Bar a late bar Eve? I thought it closed early enough?
What are people’s thoughts on Howl at the Moon? or the Odeon? Just trying to think of places that are big enough that we can take over a small corner.
Opens until 1am on Friday and Saturday? Is that a late bar? Howl at the Moon or Odeon sound good too.
Voted there. I didn’t vote for myself though I think I was a good contender for some of them*
*none of which were the serious awards
Count me in for Saturday.
The Odeon is a good spot and I think they play decent music.
Sorry, I’m all about the boogeying
Thanks Eve, wasn’t sure what the Dandelion was like these days, I suppose with a disco it was going to get the aul hen parties.
Hogans is usually a good spot, big enough, good atmosphere and near lots of transport home.
Just had another thought. How about ‘The Foggy Dew’? Good spot, interesting music and people.
I presume you were talking about the sand bagging award eamonn. I won’t make it saturday night. Going away party for one of my friends.
Count me in for Saturday’s festivities. Now to vote.. its like the X Factor… except with weights..
Yep that was one of them Damien.
Can i change my vote for most in need of a kick up the ass to Stephen. He has really let himself go in the last couple of months and has gotten fat. Come to think of it so has Eamonn. Come on lads a bit more focus.
Thanks to everyone who’s voted so far, some interesting answers coming through!! If you haven’t, sure keep voting!
My vote is in! Id be pro O’Donoghues/Hogans for pints and then Howl at the Moon for dancing…but I don’t really mind where we head it should be good festive fun!
Santa hats are compulsory I hope!
Most need of a kick up the arse: Project Red Eagle
Hey Project Red Eagle doesn’t need constant coddling and belly rubbing , we just stoically get on with things, we’re manly like that!
Project Redeagle has had none of the Bravado of Project Awesome,
http://robbwolf.com/?p=1046 (wfs) Robb Wolf on paleo challenges, great info in there
fyi 1RM Bench later. I thought everyone should know..one rep baby one rep. I should be able to belly flop up a good respectable weight. Benchin’ is awesome
What time man?
Heading to the 6 class, will you be around?
When does the gym close for christmas and reopen?
Stuck in work. Doesn’t look like I will make it down
