So does anyone have ideas on WOD's to prepare me for this http://www.southjordanfire.com/physicalabilitytest-desc.asp (wfs). I only have three weeks to prepare so trying to increase strenght or work capacity in any significant way seems foolhardy. Rather exercises that mimic the movements and time domains as closely as possible seems the way to go here.

Compounded by the following limiting factors: I have access to either CF carhole or a gym that only has cardio equipment and dumbbells; and there is snow on the ground outside making sled drags and runs less than ideal.

Thats a good article on ab exercises. I love the early articles that Glassman wrote, they are of a far higher quality than most of the rubbish on the journal nowadays.
I did the 20 minute burpee/back squat wod from the mainstie this morning, absolute killer. I know now why we have never seen back squats in a metcon before!
