Just a little thank you to Colm and all the gang, both Skanger and Langer, for a great weekend
I can’t lift my arms above my shoulders.. Ouch!
Slow day everyone must be wrecked. I am anyway..debauchery & athletic persuits don’t mix.
I’m all CrossFitted out for a few days… Good weekend though.
Yep, thanks to Colm and the guys in Cork for a great time! Have a serious case of the deadlift back today. Working today so will probably do the WOD at home.
On a final note for people who missed Langerfest 2009 (for shame!) you’ll probably be hearing the following for a while in the gym:
- SIDEWINDER!!
- back kissing
- Amy likes sailors
- Colm’s not allowed wear SKINS anymore
- Eamonn and the ladies
WARNING: ASK FOR EXPLANATION OF ANY OF THE ABOVE AT YOUR PERIL!
I just seen now that Usain Bolt ran 9.58 in the world championships. Holy crop circles batman. He would have been handy to have around for WOD 3 on Saturday
@ Eamonn:
RE: Usain Bolt
Watched the race live last night and nobody was near him, second place was Tyson Gaye with 9.71. I thought Bolt was going to literally take off in the later stage of the race he was travelling so fast. In the interest of the fastest mile article from last week is there any way to “determine” the fastest 100 m possible? Anyone have any idea?
Great weekend, not enough kissing back for my liking but we can always bring Eamonn to the butterfly lounge another night.
Thanks to everyone for making it an enjoyable weekend, funnily enough I feel grand today, my calves are a bit tight but I’ll be down to lift this evening.
Aye, cheers to all involved in organising, it was a great laugh and we got some important work done! Little bit sore today but nothing earth-shattering.
Thanks to everyone who took park on Saturday, we had a great time and cant wait to do it again soon.
I’m glad to see im not the only one thats sore, i must get me one of those all over body SKINS and pair of socks, its a nice look.
Langerfest was great craic but I must be too Old to mix beer and sport. Back and hamstrings sore today. I’d get some Skins to recover but that would just be wrong. After witnessing Colm fully clad in Skins and nothing else a little piece of me died inside. It’s a piece I can never get back. That pre Skins innocence is gone, lost forever……..forever!!!!!!
I secons that Langerfest was deadly craic altogether… in spite of Colm’s skins!
Cheers for a mighty weekend lads
