    Anything less than 27 days is probably a good throw at I reckon, starting strength rocks lads. I wonder what biscuits I should bring to the gym tonight……. :-)

    12 noon, 6,7, or 8pm would be a good time for this, seeing as that’s when CrossFit is open. (Erm, that sounded a lot better in my head)

    Yes go go rest day. Enjoy drinking tea and eating biscuits during your rest period Tom and it’s so all the sweeter when everyone else is flapping about in agony like a wounded seal.

    Also, I have to give a 5 min talk about any subject as part of a course Im doing with the reserves. Ive chosen to talk about Crossfit.
    Does anyone had any suggestions on how I should structure it, start it or anything I must have in it? Gratefully appreciate any comments

    Eoin i reckon Colm or Will help you on that , as far as i know you can start with what ever exercise you what if it is like Murph

    Angie is in one end and out the other.

    Complete all 100 pullups before moving on to the pushups, all 100 pushups before moving on to the situps etc.

    Be sure to mention what bastards Crossfit trainers are Eoin.

    You have to start, and complete, all 100 pull ups before moving onto the push ups.

    Paddy, I see you’re getting the first signs of CrossFit induced perceived lack of fitness.

    It’ll happen, everytime you think you’re making progress, someone else comes along and destroys your score/time.

    Don’t waste your time on jealousy. Sometimes you’re ahead, sometimes you’re behind. The race is long, and in the end, it’s only with yourself.

    I would believe the article that shift work counters your diet, hell yes I say in agreement.Glad I am not there seeing as it takes me 16+ mins to do 100 push ups, 3 x 100 of somthing else sounds sore.But well done to all triers and finishers.Slán

    I’m not having a great day today either. I picked up some Ben & Jerry’s to fatten myself up for tomorrow but when I got home I saw I had purchased a low fat tub.
