Sports Day!

Can everyone meet up at Tymon Park today at 10.30 for school sports day?
Three Legged Races
Jockey Back Races
Egg and Spoon Races
Wheelbarrow Races
Leap Frog Races
And we’ll top it all off with a game of Rounders.

Of course, if it’s raining, you can just head to the gym for Generalized Messing About.

  2. Hope a good day is had by all, I’m down in Tipp this weekend, sorry to have missed it!

  3. Yeah good day alright

Myself and Tony had a spectacular failure on the three legged race, think Ames and John took that one.

Bobby and Louise were miles ahead on the wheelbarrow race, and would have had the jockeyback had it not been for a slip 5 feet from the end.

The leapfrog was highly disputed, video to follow :P

Will, Sue, Rob, Tony took the tag rugby, with help from John and Bobby as substitutions were needed. Will took an early try, and Rob cut through midfield in the second half for an easy run through. Our try was nice piece from Ames to free me up for a run, and Tom (Amy’s dad) ran home the try after avoiding the tackle from Sue. Good game I thought.

Rounders was hilariously disorganized, with 5 bases. John, Will, Amy, Tom, Big Shane, and Bobby took the game in that.

Susan – Amy’s sister – introduced us to Ultimate Frisbee after that and was a nice way to end the day. R*Dawg joined in the fun mid way through.

Fun day all round guys! Hope you’d fun.

  4. sounds like a good day was had by all, sorry i missed it. I’d love to see what three legged running to failure would look like.

    I did “that’s a ridiculous weight” with 16kg and subbing 50 air squats for the 400m run. 13mins 27secs.
