I want to order up new t-shirts. Who wouldn’t want a “Why would you stop?” t-shirt. But Tom won’t let me until we clear some of the t-shirts we currently have. Now, I know what you’re thinking, Tom is weak like otter, not strong like bull, but he used words like inventory management and mentioned his time in DBS so I was forced to agree with him.

Ok, a question for those of you who do KB work. I’ve never been that interested before but I’ve noticed that light deadlifting does not seem to bother my knee which made me think maybe KB swings and even cleans might be possible. I’ve also seen KB’s mentioned with the word ‘rehab’ a lot.
Anyway I don’t know the first thing about them past the Martone videos so the first question is whether it’s possible to put together a decent CF style routine and if it would be worth my time to investigate this stuff further.

Scoring format is up on the CF games website for this weekend. Events based on points system similar to some of the qualfiers. There is 5 events the first day and Sunday will be multi event also. I’m gonna have to go with Speal as the favourite with that many events. Josh Everett is my favourite CF’er but he’s going to get nailed with that many events and get nailed with movements he hasn’t practiced.
I’m routing for Josh Everett too, but it really depends on the order of the events.
If the first is as many double unders as possible in a single set, for example, that could screw a bunch of people on nerves. If it’s a 500m row, again, it can favour some people.
My guess is the first two workouts would be fairly CrossFit-esque, ie we’ll have seen the movements before and it’ll be mixed mode. I can imagine the organizers/HQ will come under fire for this format.
Ooo, I can already smell the shitstorm the elimination-style format is going to stir up.
Imagine getting eliminated based on your performance on the first 2 rounds, only to see workouts that you know you’d have dominated come up later on…there’s gonna be war.
