PR Day
Fancy your hand at something on the whiteboard? Today, come down and carve your name in stone for all eternity. Or, on dry-erase market until the next time it comes up.

looks like a fun workout day , Colm for Saturday can you put my and Amber down for 11 am
Going for my double under record Pix? I suppose you need your name up there for something….
You, me and the Americans already know I beat the holy hell out of your DU score, but I will do it again just for posterity sake.
Oh and Colm you can put myself and Anna down for Saturday as well and my mate Del.
Cool beans Pix (Bobby, that expression has been stuck in my head since last night, so I’m blaming you)
What time?
Yeah sure you did Pix. Sure you did. I don’t see it on the board or anything but okay, I believe you…
Cool beans Colm, I don’t mind.
Right I’ve gone through my training log since January and the only real goat that I have (apart from being not as strong overall as I’d like to be) is my deadlift. It’s only a teeny tiny bit above my squat which isn’t right.
Deadlifts tomorrow then Colm instead of Power Cleans?
Sorry, healthlift I should say.
Nice work Bobby. That would be a good one for you.
I’m gonna take a shot at the DU’s as well. You know as a warmup PR for the many MANY PR’s I am going to set.
I might take a shot at the clean&jerks also. Can you powerclean and jerk it? Someday my front squat will pass out my powerclean..someday.
Colm, my two sisters Eimear and Orlagh are going to come. I’ve been put on babysitting duties however to faciliate this so I won’t be able to make it myself. I have mixed feelings about this.
Colm the open day does Amber need to be down from 10am till 1 or just come down for the class at 11 ?
Pixie, if you get a chance before you come up tonight could you do up that inbetweeners DVD for me? I promise to stop slagging your new bottle lid if you do
Cheers dude.
which ones are on the whiteboard?
Damien,
Fran, Cindy, Annie, Angie, Grace, Front Squat, Back Squat, Press, Amy, Double Unders, Pullups, Weighted Pullups (kg), Overhead Squat, Jerk, Snatch and the Clean & Jerk are the only ones I can remember.
I was thinking of doing ‘Grace’?
I think you’ve most of them there Bobby.
Dale, no whatever class she’s like to come along to is fine, 10, 11 or 12. 11 right now is looking the busiest.
Eamonn, you Fran dodging mofo, what time are your sisters coming down for? Since I still can’t find you on Facebook, I can’t invite you to my birthday later on that day. You should come, it’d be a good one for you.
Me dodge a brutal metcon?..with my reputation? Never! I’d almost do grace tonight after Ruairi just mentioning it but my press strength is too fatigued at the moment methinks /dodge
I joined the CFI Facebook group last night so you should be able to find me now and send me the invite. My sister’s will be down at 10.
Chalkie, you look about 8 in your profile pic!!!
Anywho, Bobby, Tom, Scott, we’ve got a guest instructor down at Sparta tonight in Mark Curry, check it out – http://spartanmma.com/2009/07/02/everyone-loves-a-guest-instructor/ (don’t watch the vid if your work/family would be horrendified by MMA Sparring)
haha ya, it must be my 68 kilo frame pre my lifting heavy ass weight adventures. That and my youthful good looks of course.
Well,Was there a skip off between Pixie and Bobby?
Their both yellow is what they are
No sightings Tony. Eamonn is now the official Irish alternative to Buddy Lee, with an imposing 50 double unders. That’ll probably stand until the next time Big Shane shows up.
Frankly though, I’m a little dissappointed that the most hotly contested record in the gym is for skipping.
Fancy lifting an ole weight some day guys?
