These must start from the hang position (mid thigh). Do not use the stretch-reflex to start your lift.

then:
5 rounds for time
30 Dumbbell Snatches, 15kg (or 16kg kettlebell)
12 Push Ups

  2. If the Broccoli recipe is half as good as the ‘Amateur Gourmet’ makes it out to be, it should be pretty tasty. Will be throwing in the toasted pine nuts myself though!

  3. I’ve tried quite a bit of Ina Garten’s stuff over the years and it usually turns out pretty well, some less so but always nicely dumbed-down for the non-chefs of the world like me. As an interesting aside she used to write energy policy papers for Nixon, now she writes cookbooks. Why do I have this information in my head?

Not sure if anyone has posted about this before, but there is a government incentive going since Jan1 to purchase bikes through your employer at reduced rates through tax incentives for bikes up to 1000 euro. You pay for it tax free over 12 months. Looks like a great offer if your employer is willing to take part……

  5. Really like the article on push ups. I use to always do some on my own after a class in my old gyms. If you tried to you some proper push ups in the aerobics class all the girls would think you where a show off and when you could only do a couple, they thought you where crap and went nah ! nah! nah ! at you.

    It was very intimidating to be anyway good at anything in gyms.
