  1. So I spent the last couple of days in the mountains, miles from civilization and you know what? At night I could see my hand. Plainly. And the trees and the camp and a variety of other items. With nothing but a sliver moon and many stars.

I keep trying to give T.S. Wiley the benefit of the doubt and I’ll fully admit that she’s much smarter than me, but there really seem to be some big holes in her theories.

  2. I was thinking the same thing a while back. When I’m back home (miles from civilisation) I can see my shadow when the moon is bright.

  3. They’re cheeky little bastards alright. I still haven’t found a way to extract revenge for all the mocking. I reckon the best way is to avoid them by staying on the equator and follow the sun, that ain’t sustainable though…

  4. Its cool Ed. I figured out also that mine is scared of the shade. As soon as I went into it my shadow was scared off. Yours might be too.

  5. Kyle – I think the idea was that as a paleolithic type person, you’d find somewhere that isn’t out in the open to sleep at night. Tis darker in the middle of a dense hedge or a cave.

Damien and Ed – Not sure I can help here.

  6. Yeah she plays up the cave theory a bit in her book but based on my extensive 0 hours of research, I’ve concluded that there aren’t enough caves scattered throughout the continents of the world to have supported the entire evolutionary population of Homo Sapiens Sapiens.

And when Dan John and Robb Wolf warned ‘you just have to get past the alien DNA stuff’, I thought they were exaggerating. They weren’t.

As to the shadows, I don’t mind mine so much. He’s nice to have around and he don’t talk so much. Sure he could lose a few pounds, but I’d never tell him that.

  7. it might be from 4chan, or the asshole of the internet, but tis a good one
