Elements Classes – CrossFit West Santa Cruz
Are you a lurker on the CrossFit Ireland site? If so, why don’t you put a post up saying hi? What’s stopping you making the trip down and trying out a class with us?

Hey guys,
There was an article in the Metro this morning about Vibrams. Though there was two very surly fokes in the picture wearing them. Don’t think people will be rushing out to buy them after seeing those pictures
colm,
just wondering about the finer details of the oly lift workshop – cost, time and location i guess would be the biggest three.
cheers,
other colm
Vibrams eh is that the new thing? Back in my day we’d go to school bare foot in the snow after getting up at 5 am and doing a days work. Bah young folk!
Colm/Bobby/Pixie, Frankly I’m disappointed. You couldn’t get through even one week of Old man bashing
Cost – €25 for CrossFitters/€30 for mortals
Time – 12noon-3ish
Location – CrossFit Ireland
Tony, I’ve realized that insulting you doesn’t work. Lavishing praise upon you seems to affect you more. So I’ll just say this: Tony, you’re great! Really.
sound, although it will mean missing the first half of the lions match. See you tomorrow so
Tony are they full squat cleans or ground to overhead anyway you want?
Thinking of coming up later if I can pull myself out of my Michael Jackson induced depression but might have to scale full squat cleans so there’s no chance of knackering my back before tomorrow.
Hey guys hope the workshop goes really well and sorry i cant make it.
Re-did fran yesterday and got bang on 5mins so gunning for the september show down!
Dominic
Eamonn,
This was a Colm inspired WOD and i watched him doing it yesterday. He was doing power cleans, so i guess its power cleans.
Eamonn,
Ground to Overhead in any two part movement (i.e. no snatching)
Colm,
That’s why the good lord invented digiboxes, to record such events.
Good article about cheat meals for those zoning or otherwise.

Cool I’m gonna powerclean those muthas so. This will make up for missing the 3RM last friday. Powercleans rock!
I suspect Bobby is at the heart of this

I’ll be down later to test out my theory that you only get one chance to perform well after a night on the sauce. Well actually two nights and about 8 hours sleep in total.
Oh and Tony, you’re old.
true dat colm, but the good lord didnt bless sky ireland with long enough ladders to put a dish on the roof of my gaff so ntl it is for me.
ah well, this will be of much more benefit.
I was going to do the IRFU conditioning course in july and one of their guests for the week is a German Olympic Weight Lifting Medalist and Coach, as well as a guy from the Irish Amateur Weightlifting Association. Also the week costs 450 lids, not including either having to commute to carlow everyday or stay a week in carlow. All-in-all i think tomorrow offers much better value for money
i even managed to get to the “gym” today (as bobby will attest, crunch ucd barely scrapes into the definition of a gym).
backsquat 5×5 – 90-100-105-107.5-110 (pb)
bench 5×5 – 60-70-75-77.5-77.5(4)
sdhp 5×5 – 70-80-80-80-80
mectcon was a real quickie cos i was knackered after all that 15,12,9 35lb kb swings and box jumps – 3.25
Pixie “should’ve gone heavier” O’Driscoll agrees with Bobby that Tony is old, however I’m also saddened that this is the best we can do in the abuse stakes.
