Only two weeks into CrossFit, and John's rugby coach has noted he's recovering better from rucks, and hitting them harder. Good work dude!

Ahh, I see I used that “old stories” line already, but with chopping and changing days of the workouts it’s obviously been duplicated.
I’m tempted to edit that, but sure I’ve typed up this now so I’ll leave it.
To be honest it works pretty well, old people forget stuff all the time!
Hey, old people have feelings too!
Meh I’d apologise but you’ll have forgotten by the time I see you!
Hey Pixie, Great work on the Kyle yesterday. I wanted to cry about round 5 it was terrible. I spent the last two minutes trying to put off doing anymore SDHP but still had enough to get out 5 in 20 seconds. Then had the pleasure of sitting on the floor unable to move for about 15 mins.
i’m sure you were all very concerned i disappeared there for a while, but dont fear i have been checking in on y’all. I started following crossfit football for a while and was posting there, in between just doing my own strength work. Check out their “Kalsu” hero WOD. Robb Wolf was even moved to comment on the sadistic nature of it!
anyway real reason i want to post is to say i knocked a whopping two minutes off my last grace time, down to 8.25. I think i could have done it closer to 7.30 but took too much rest on my last three reps, rest in hindsight i didnt really need
Nice work dude! Was wondering where you’d gotten to in the end! Glad to see you’re still training, how’d the GAMSAT go for you? I got 72 overall so I should be sorted for UCD this coming september.
Oh and Pixie, that is some fine old man bashing. Damn fine. Glad to have you on team whippersnapper.
To be honest I’m a bit shocked, I was kinda expecting everyone to whoop my ass at that WOD, saying that I did walk around in a daze for about 15 minutes after the WOD trying to remember how to breathe! Good fun though! I’m thinking Jackie is gonna knock the living hell outta me tonight though!
Someone tell Pixie to slow down. He’s making the rest of us look bad.
Heh I wouldn’t worry too much about that Eamonn, cardio and pull-ups tonight so I’ll be nice and slow!
Good to have you back posting Colm. You should come to the Olympic Lifting Workshop this Saturday. That’d be a good one for you.
Speaking of good ones for people, and it being old man week, Bill – the original crazy old man of the gym – donated a lovely olympic lifting bar to the gym. Thanks Bill!
i would love to. Details please?
Bobby – Well done man, 72 is an epic score. I got a very disappointing score tbh, especially compared to that lol, so it’s looking like i have to re-sit them in sept in london.
I presume you’ve got your degree results and that they were agreeable. So well done all round sir, you are, it seems not only a well rounded athlete but academic as well!

Good article about cheat meals for anyone trying to zone or otherwise.

Cheat meals?, zone diets? bah none of that stuff about in my day, we’d just go to school bare foot(no need for vibrams) and hungry and a treat of a sunday was bread and jam. Bah young folk!
Anyone see my copy of Every second counts? Bobby I’m lookin in your direction?
