Here is the standard we should all be squating at, it is very good for leg muscle strength apparantly.

Hey all.. officially starting to follow the wod’s here for the forseeable future.. been way to much floatin about the site and dodgin workouts and summer in galwayness!.. ya get the jist..
So have pretty much been on the paleo kick for the past couple of weeks.. those first few days without sugar hurted my head alot!
Going to start tracking food and training like a hawk from now on..
Am currently reading Protein power and Enter the Zone. Have a few more people interested in cf down here in galway too.. gonna be trainin with them in the next few days..
Plan on another trip up to ye in the next week or two aswell and hopefully a trip up north and to manchester in the next couple of months.
As for today.. did cindy on about 5 hrs of average sleep.. got 11 rds.. with the last 6 rds w/ jumping pull ups.. long road ahead!
Have a good day all.
Eugh. I don’t think nights on the absolute batter followed by 4 hours kip are helpful when trying to beat my old cindy score. I have a habit of either ruining myself or just altogether missing my favorite workouts.
So during my weekend in sunny San San Diego I stopped by the olympic training center (apparently its a big deal as there are only three in all of the US–why they decided one should be in Chula Vista, aka the armpit of San Diego, I don’t know). Anyway while browsing through the gift shop, it turns out they had Buddy Lee jumpropes and DVD’s. I understand he was an olympic wrestler, but I’ve never heard of olympic jumping rope.
There’s an olympic training centre in Chula Vista? Damn. I was there for a week last summer, I’d have loved to see the place.
Armpit of San Diego? And here was me thinking Chula Vista was a nice spot…
Hey guys, just a little thank you to everyone who’s sponsored me so far. Did the mini-marathon today – just home and aching already, but there were firemen out with hoses in Donnybrook so it was well worth it!!
I was hoping to do it in under, or at least close to 1:20:00, and was asked by a few to post my time….
Did it in 1:07:12!
The seconds may be a bit off there, but it was definately under 1:08 so I’m thrilled to bits
Congratulations Amy!
