What’s your ideal time to train? Do you notice a difference between the different classes? Banter, discussion, competition, coaching? Post thoughts to comments.

  1. The fact that i would irregular hours means there is no ideal time for me to train.

On my days off my best time would be morning time around 9am.
If i am working days it is 8pm.
When i am working nights then 4 or 5pm would suit me best.

  2. Robbie I feel your pain, trying to train around rotating shift patterns sucks.

  3. 6′oclock class is usually a little quieter so you get plenty of coach time on the movements. For banter, competition et al whenever the most people are down which is usually the later classes.

  4. I’m one of these weirdos who keeps “regular” hours – well, apparently teachers don’t do full days so maybe not regular.

Anyways, I like the 7pm class, simply because that way I get to see all the 6 o’clock gang and the 8 o’clock gang and feel I haven’t missed out on anything!! :)

  5. Being unemployed (but in the 99th percentile for cleverness) means I can come and go as I please really.

The daytime classes are very competitive I’ve found, more so than the evening ones so that’s always good for a guy like me. I personally like the 7pm class the most as I feel I perform best at that hour of the evening. It also allows me time to lie on the ground after class and sort my life out before I try and drive home. I’ve needed that extra time on more than a few occasions…

  6. I like the 7pm classes. I get home from work and straight out the door, so no hanging around and plenty of time left in the evening when I get home.

  7. You’ll have to scroll down a bit, but you’ll see the poster I’m talking about. There’re a few around dundrum and foxrock that I know of.

  8. ideal time for me is 5. I usually finish work around 4.30 so just enough time to get to crossfit

  9. 6pm class for me is ideal i finish work 430 too and i can chill for a bit then train and go home , ive found the 6pm classes to be pretty good as well not done he later classes in a while

  10. ‘We’ll session through the recession’ I like it, simple but effective.

  11. Eamonn, I had to approve these comments, and I did. Nice one.

Big Shane, if you’re out there, we’re finally having that political discussion you’ve always wanted :D

  12. Ideal training time is around lunchtime or late in the evening (9+pm) if I don’t have to be up the following morning. had to train at 6pm a few days last week and it sucked. I’m reasonable with morning workouts but I’m usually either in a rush, bloated from a 5 egg breakfast or asleep. Mostly asleep though.

Dunno if Damo would be elected. I thought the criteria for holding any public office were as follows:

    Be a publican
Have captained the local GAA team
    be an elected official’s sibling/child/spouse.

(P.s. fulfilling one or more of these criteria practically guarantees election)

That’s the way it works where I come from anyway.

I was gonna say something about shinners but…. Well you know.

This leaves only one conclusion, and I think we all know what that is…

  13. That video is class!

When im not in work 12. When I am in work 7pm or 8pm depending on work deadlines.
Found the classes at 12 to have the best atmosphere

    Stephen: 120-110-110
    Robbie: 100-100-100
    Jeff: 100-100-100
    Eamonn: 100(f)-90-90
    Bobby: 100-90-90
Amy: a lot of messing about
