Kept the snatch work light to dial in some technique, although Stephen was throwing about 50kg around at one stage.
Runs happened out on the road, still a bit heavy on the traffic-dodging side, but better than the carpark would have been.

So due to my oversight on the whole schedule thing I decided to go for a run to at least make sure I had some exercise today. So I started running and straight away my shins started hurting, I thought nothing of it and kept going, by about 1 or 2 km in my legs were in bits, searing waves of pain in my calves and shins. So I managed to hobble back to my house where I now sit in some serious pain, so the question is – what the hell did pixie manage to do to himself this time? “You’re just ridiculously unfit Pixie!” is an acceptable answer!
Sounds like shin splints Pixie. What type of shoes are you running in and what are you running on? concrete, tarmac, grass? etc. Do you hear or feel anything in your shins when you flex your ankle back and forth?
Baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhahahahaha too bloody right I’m waiting for my revenge. I’m tempted to live on a diet of hamburgers and coke until then just so I can be a fact hunt (points for the reference) and do well at a Crossfit event!!
Thanks for that Tony, checked shin splints on the ol wikipedia and that sounds about right! Looks like I just need to rest up a bit, well I’m working for the weekend so i won’t have a chance to CrossFit so a weekend of rest will be best.
