Damn typed word and no tone,

Dominic seemed to land in slow motion, it was eerily odd to watch him land so smoothly,

He also apologises for not making a jump, I myself have a preference for cursing and rambling but each to their own :)

Dominic AKA (my feet dont touch the box but they do touch the box)

Yeh I'd give that a go, we should do it nearer the mats though, it allows for easier? Bailouts and I reckon there will be a good few of those,

Nice to meet you Dominic, and we'l see you on the 9th.

Hey Bobby-

One thing I'd say on the whole pre-making food thing ... I'm not a fan. I know this runs contrary to Will's school of thought, but personally I find it tastier to cook whatever meat or eggs are part of a given meal there and then. Less convenient, yes:

It's slower and requires more effort, but I just don't enjoy re-heated food as much. And when you are new enough to the Zone I reckon you need to take your enjoyment where you can find it...

Hi Deidre,

Tag training cancelled as can't get the numbers out, so will make the 7pm class. If it doesn't suit, no bother, as I can meet yea on the way in to 8pm class. I'll probably be nursing some brused shins from the box jumps ;-)

We haven't got a 3 girlie yet, if we wanted to definitely enter.

Eugh. The beer monkey ran over me in his party tractor this weekend. I won't be up tonight for training but I'll be around tomorrow. Count me in for Wolverine too, either time works for me.

I've had to delay my zoneness until tomorrow since I got back too late and tired last night to make the trip to tescos. Quick question. I'm in college these days studying for my finals so I'll be brining everything from home. In terms of just sheer size should I just go for apples and other types of fruit for my carb blocks during the day and leave the larger sized fibrous veg until I get home?

Also, in terms of premaking food for an entire day. Would I just make up a lot of the same meal and have it for the day? i.e. lots of little burgers or lots of chicken breasts? I've done this before by cooking an entire packet of mince and using that for my protein blocks for the day.

Sorry for the long post but I figure that if I make this zone thing as easy as possible I'll actually stick with it and maybe, just maybe, catch up with my idol Tony.

Guys,

On the Strength Bias we're fairly strength biased in our gym anyway. Hence the amount of workouts we have that have a lift, then a short metcon.

Karl & Mark from Manchester introduced us to this, and they're in touch with Jeff Martin who wrote the strength bias piece for the CFJ.

I'll have another look at the article and myself and Will will be over to Manc in May anyway and we'll pick their brains about this.

Oh, and who's up for Wolverine on Friday? There's showings in Vue at 20.40 or 21.00.
