Tuck & The Gymnastics Certification

There’s still places for the Gymnastics Cert in CFNI this August. Really, you should attend. Imagine how being able to do muscle ups, dips, handstand push ups (not to mention front levers, L-Seats and all that other fun stuff) will do for your WOD scores and general fitness.

  1. Suggestion – I note on the CFNI that part of the metcon they are doing today has a proposed weight for the guys and the girls, just thought it was a good idea. Would be good know, as a girlie, what weight I should be aiming for when training.

    Just a thought.

    Sue – General crossfit wisdom is that the unofficial rx’d weight for girls is 2/3 of the guys weight.

    Officially speaking though, aim to use the men’s weight someday!

  7. Anyone know a good substitute exercise for pull ups if one doesnt have a pull up bar at home?

  8. As rx’d 28 rounds

    chest to bar pull ups, chest to floor push ups with full lock out and proper squats.
    Good luck tomorrow Will, would love to be up there slugging it out with ye!!

    80, 80, 82.5, 85, 85

    Shoulder press
    3-3-3
    47.5, 50, 52.5

    7pm:

    Marianne: 8 rounds + 1 squat (jumping pull-ups, push-ups off box)
    Paul: 13 rounds + 10 push-ups (to beat Bobby)
