Finally picked up my WL shoes from the post office this morning. I'm dying to go lift some stuff but I won't get a chance until Monday. I threw them on earlier on and did some air squats, they make an awful difference, it's so much easier to nail proper technique with them. Plus they look sufficiently badass, always a bonus.

On a related note, I took the shoes into my local supplement shop today as the owner had told me that he could get them cheaper than what I paid. He took the details and said he'll ring me tomorrow with a quote. I'll let you guys know what he says, he's a nice guy so I'd like to throw some business his way if I could. If anyone's looking for Oly shoes just wait an extra day till I see how much he can get them for and in what timeframe.

If you do this with dumbells it seems to tax the grip more. Grip plates probably are easier ... I've done it with 20kg in each hand both times, for continuity.

Colm (tongue in cheek hopefully) suggested bumper plates held in a pinch grip, but I passed.

Ill be down later at 6 for a SS session but might hang around for the farmers walk. Look's like fun. This assuming my chest affection doesn't act up too much. It's been lingering around like a bad smell for the past few days.

15:23 on the farmer's walk.

At the four round mark I was already up to around 8 minutes, and thought I better pick up the pace... I ended up running (well, jogging really) the last two rounds. Wish I'd thought of that sooner...
