leg-ilicous!
I think we have had aleg-ilicous week
Good luck to whomever is down tonight after sprints last night and the 100 burpees the other night.
Me not like sprints, me feel very ill after sprints last night
I’m not designed for running and felt a crap for 5 mins after. Jumping squats are going to be painful.
I know, I know, we totally whaled on our calves yesterday, and now we’re really gonna rip into the brah.
Cool. I wasnt the only one with a Naucious feeling after those sprints. 500m Row x 3 Vibe about it!!!
Oh we whaled on them alright…… Amazing how such a short distance destroyed us, pretty cool actually
You know, I’ve always preferred WAILING on my cattle.
You shower of illerate backstards.
well the cycle home i had was not pleasant, ill say that much!
6 complete rounds, 10 knee-to-elbows and 7 jumping squats.
power cleans – 60-65-67.5-70-75(2)
I’m really angry i didnt manage the last rep on 75. I had it up to my chest (twice in fact), i just couldnt get under it for some reason. Maybe the 5×5 power cleans i did yesterday had something to do with it.
Last week at training we were doing 5m sprints for a minute, with a minutes rest in between, three times. I swear i have never felt my legs start to seize up as bad.
“You know, I’ve always preferred WAILING on my cattle.”
For some reason this was the first sentence I saw when I glanced through the comments. Will, respect.
Will, your such a stickler sometimes.
So I tried my hand at a 5k and I came in at a breezy 30:20. Yes folks, that’s right over half an hour to run five kilometers. Luckily I had anticipated this and brought along a magazine to read when I got bored.
I understand why all of my metcon numbers are tanking but I don’t understand why my strength numbers are so far off as well. Maybe I’m not moaning enough?
Well I’m finally catching up on my post-trip follow-up. I have to say that you Irish men were the best! I had a blast with the workout and all the chuckles – I’ll be back for sure. Wasn’t impressed with my Fran performance – I checked my log and realized I did it faster in October at the same weight… maybe I was nervous to perfect my squat form so Will wouldn’t yell at me. I promise to come back with super good form. If any of you are in Chicago soon, just let me know. Scott – thanks for the ride home with the cashmere scarf – it was much appreciated!
Kyle – brilliant. Actually LOL here!
Drat, didn’t take down today’s scores. You’re slipping, Mr. O’Reilly.
