  4. Thursday sounds good for me, I’ll ring home tonight and see if its cool. The 28th is the MMA league so it counts it out for me!

  7. This is going to be very similar to fridays workout, which I must say sucked and made me hate Crossfit while doing it

  8. That was a fecking killer ending on friday though Tom, you gotta love seeing someone who can barely stand up staggering back over to finish a set while you can practically HEAR their survival instincts yelling at them not to do it.

  10. Ah… I was having trouble bending my legs yesterday thanks to Friday’s legtastic workout. Now this… Luckily I can bitch out by claiming that tonight is BJJ night for me.

    Colm’s Q&A session on boards.ie is surprisingly uncontroversial so far. I was going to ask a question about how he developed his huge fanbase, and which of Tom Cruise’s portfolio inspires him the most, but I was worried it could get taken the wrong way.

    In other news- Tom, you mentioned being interested in starting to do some stand-up martial arts later in the year. Well, there might be a good opportunity popping up in the gym in a few weeks, talk to Colm in the gym. Something new on the horizon…

    I’d hold off on ordering those shoes from Holdall.co.uk just yet. I’m having a slight problem with them regarding payment. I’ve been charged but they claim they haven’t received anything.

    It seems to be a problem on their end as I have credit card and paypal receipts for the item. I’ll let you know how I get on.

  13. Just got off the phone with Tom Ashmore from Holdall.co.uk and I’ve apparently sorted things out and my order will be dispatched tomorrow.

    He couldn’t tie my transaction number to my transaction or something. I got my serious on for a few minutes and he apologised and said it’d be with me by the end of the week. I’ll let you know if it arrives

  14. I’ll put this in early, can we do a CrossFit Total on March 7th? I’m going to do one myself anyway but it’d be fun to have it at the gym instead.

    My reasoning being that I’m getting off for my mid-term field break on the 6th but I won’t be going out due to work so I’ll be good to go on Saturday. I want to see the progress of my Starting Strength efforts and get a new set of 1RM PRs!

  16. Good work on Will for coaching last night, the tips at the ned helped me through those last few push presses,

    What does FSS mean……. I can think of a few suggerstions but I reckon my old friend the spam filter will not allow them

  17. I’d like to point out that that 40kg snatch was a personal best for me and i’m pretty happy with it. (No matter how fugly it looked)
