150 burpees for time

17:54

Rather frustrated with this, I can't seem to get much faster on this WOD each time I do it.

How interesting you would post this link based on the discussion I had yesterday with Captain Steve. Following is the transcript as best I remember:
Me: so are you going to do CF with me when I move back?
CS: Sure, but not heavy squats or deadlifts—I don’t like them
Me: but you need to undo the damage from all of your triathlons
CS: no, I know someone who really jacked up their back doing heavy deads
Me: (with the immediately dismissive and self important attitude that I despise so much in others) well he obviously didn’t know what he was doing
CS: no he’s a CF level 2 certified instructor
Me:?
CS: well he was doing a deadlift running wod so he was wearing shoes with air pockets in the heels. One popped on the deadlift and he hurt his back.

So there you go. Now obviously Captain Steve doesn’t think CF is dangerous, but it is a good reminder to myself of why I despise immediately dismissive attitudes. And rather timely.

Made it down to meet the lovely folks of CF 801 to put in a PW cindy of 15 rounds. I like to think it was the altitude, or the jet lag, or the load of cookies and little chocolate donettes I had for breakfast and not the real reason. The good news is I made it through two days of snowboarding without breaking anything (except maybe rebreaking my toe—who’s sick of hearing about that by now?)

Oh and well done on the spicey. It wasn't lost on me.
