  1. thanks for the kind words and the photo on the site.

But most of all thanks for coming to the party guys hope you enjoyed yourselves.

  2. Yes it was, which is why Colm isn’t in the photo. He was stopped at the door with his questionable sun yellow attire. Sadly I was his ride home so he had to hang out in the parking lot (which was right next to the car park) for most of the evening.

  3. Ok, maybe I made all that up.

So SS question. I still haven’t had time to actually read the book for myself so when going up he mentions something like 10 lbs per workout on your squat and 5-10 on your bench. However you are squatting every workout but only benching every third workout which seems drastically disparate. Do I have that right?

Also I think I may have started way too low on Saturday.

  4. Yeah that’s about the thrust of it iirc, there is a massive difference between your bench/press and the squat. The old shoulders just can’t take the loading the hips can.

How long you going on SS for anyway dude? If it’s only a couple of weeks til the foot heels you could be a bit more aggressive, not worrying about the stall. If it’s long term, you can take advantage of the quite manageable loading now.

  5. Robb Wolf had a few thing to say about the longer version of Poliquin’s crossfit “critique” last time it surfaced in internetland: http://robbwolf.com/?p=285 .

Seems the ole research/experience/brain problems have surfaced again.

*Pathetic Human Being. Phil wrote this on the board, not me, and asked that I record his score as such.
