Because I’m a tubby bastard, do normal pull-ups count as weighted pull-ups for me!

What I generally do with people who can’t do weighted pull ups is work on kipping technique with them, and at the rate of weight loss you’ve got going, you won’t be using that tubby excuse any longer dude!
Question: I was speaking with my dad and he was taking cod liver oil, and I said you needed to take good fish oil. He argued that fish oil could be anything, whereas cod liver oil is very specific. I hadn’t an answer to him. I know there is one but can’t think of it. Anyone?
Good turn out last night. Gym was packed lots of fighters down. Great work last night but especially the 9 o’clock class of Big Shane and Paul.
Big Shane ripped through the WOD with consistent high numbers for the squats and the press’s as did Paul who had just done some hard rolling with the MMA boys before doing the crossfit class. I think both scored higher numbers then the class at 8 (obvious bunch of sandbaggers) .Well done to everyone last night it was an enjoyable WOD
Colm – We don’t really care what fish it came from, we just need fat extracted from wild animals that have been eating a natural diet. Were it available, grassfed cow oil would be equally useful, as a properly reared slab of beef is actually a denser source of EPA and DHA than salmon.
We just go for fish oil because it’s the most readily available source of large quantities of EPA and DHA. There isn’t a terrible amount of these in cod liver oil, and you can’t really take lots of it as you get into trouble with too much vitamin A.

15:22 as rx’d. Not overly painful at any stage, just really slow. Couldn’t skip and my push-ups were a joke. Bad day. The pizza I had afterwards was good though.
