With a continuously running clock do one pull-up the first minute, two pull-ups the second minute, three pull-ups the third minute… continuing as long as you are able.

Use as many sets each minute as needed.

    Shane, I know you swore off rest day discussions but given your profession, thoughts on IP?

    If he doesn’t then I’ll probably be under sedation and armed guard, after having gone postal down at the post office.

  3. My God. Usually I think I look great in photos but I don’t think you quite got my ‘good side’. Plus some dirt on the lens makes it look like I’ve got a hitleresque mustache going on. Good thing I was wearing nice shorts. It balances out.

  4. Colm-I can’t believe you suckered me into reading a main site article. Why? Have I wronged you in some way? At the risk of sounding like a meatstick I would say, based on how poorly written and ridiculously weak the arguments made and logic used is throughout the article, this is Glassman’s argument in favor of IP. But that’s just a guess. Libertarians can at times be seemingly paradoxical in their fanatical use of government to protect individual rights (including property rights).

    And Big Shane, as the resident heartless capitalist, someday we’ll have to have a discussion on your views regarding socialism.

    Ahg. You see, this is exactly what happened to me on the main site. It is impossible for me not to respond. Curse you Colm, curse you. Like giving one last ‘free hit’ to a recovering heroin addict.

  7. I’m very curious to see what kind of response you get on PM. I would say those failures were purely mental as the bar was easily as high as on the successful lifts, something was just stopping you from getting underneath it (maybe the thought of 80 kilos crashing down on you?).

    But Mr. O’Reilly, do I see your back rounding when setting down those weights? Which brings up a good point. You are constantly correcting all of us, but for some reason nothing seems to drive it home as much as seeing for myself how bad my own form is (thinking of Manchester vids and swing pic in particular). Does anyone else have any interest and would your site support some form/critique videos?

    Oh, and YOUR email? Really Colm, my emails belong to the people.
