  1. Funny link.
There’s a little bit of Reilly in that Rip post.
I cant quite put my finger on it

  2. If anyone wants to see 120kg repeatedly cleaned as though it were an empty bar, there’s a vid of Josh Everett doing King Kong up on the main site.

    It’s completely unreasonable.

  3. Yeah saw that this morning, Josh is the shizzle alright, very humble guy to boot too.

  4. That was shocking! Josh looks like some sort of mischievous yank frat boy turned toothpaste salesman. A terrifyingly powerful one. Don’t tell him I said that though.

  5. I’m more impressed by how easily he does the 455lb (~205kg) deadlift. Makes it look like he’s picking up 40 or 50kg.

  6. You’ve gotta feel something for the first lad who did that. Big fanfare surrounds his video on the mainsite. “We didn’t even think it was possible”

Resounding response – “It’s pretty easy. Look Everett did it without breaking a sweat as a cool down in half the time and weighing only 185lbs”

    Ouch!

  7. The 120kg cleans are incredible. Watched the first King Kong vid after i saw Everetts. It makes Everetts looks even more impressive. Looks so easy

  8. Big Shane, keep it up and I’m going to make you start wearing a weight vest on your runs. Wait, what’s this cold, hook-tasting thing in my mouth?

Busy day today, lots to get through.

  9. Good point, there’s also a clear, and unfair bias in favour of people who don’t eat cake.

I think we should experiment with exploiting this as a way to “game” the WODs.

  10. Well, that was pretty much it. Less cake.

Maybe more olympic lifting practise too.

  11. That’s probably because I don’t spend significant amounts of time shouting at you to get back on the pullup bar, Colm.

    Bobby, you’ll thank me someday.
