Feeling nights these days, so I've been sleeping in and doing managable workouts.

Yesterday-

Shoulder press
5-5-5-5-5

50kg across, started failing on the third rep during the third workset. Finished it out with longer rest periods.

Today-

Perform 1 cleand and press with kettlebell on the first minute, 2 on the second, 3 on the third etc. Alternating arms each round.

Rounds 1-8 performed with 24kg kettlebell
Rounds 9-16 performed with 16kg kettlebell

Dropped the weight because I wanted this one to be a metcon, and frankly I would have reached muscular failure first if I stuck with the 24kg. As it was I was just running out of time. You never realise how 'long' a clean and press seems to take until you're against the clock.

Sat 27th

AMRAP in 10 mins

200m-ish run
10 Single Unders
5 Burpees

6 rounds flat @9:52

We've moved the paving slabs I used to use for box jumps so I had to sub single unders. Double unders would have been a better choice but it would have turned it into a skill workout and I didn't want that. Good WOD

Workout today with Captain Steve in the hotel gym: Run to the intersection, 21 50lb dumbbell swings, 21 pushups 5 rounds. On the runs Capn Steve kept busting out Firefighter cadences (think Full Metal Jacket). No timer but I can't tell you how good it feels to be doing CF again after the last few weeks off. I got to where I just hated the lethargic slug-like feeling and now I'm reenergized and feel great.
