Honestly, I’m sure that I’m shrinking. Even my arms are like a foot long. I never noticed that before.
If I recall correctly, the last time we did the Bear, Colm—most likely repeating the manta ‘must beat Kyle, must beat Kyle’—snuck in with an extra few rounds. It seems, therefore, that I must do the Bear today rather than taking a rest.
Must beat previous score. Must beat previous score.
Shane O (just can’t get used to this Pixie business) – Regarding Mark Sisson’s blog, yep, I’m a fan too.
I’ve few little niggles with some of his stuff here and there, but it’s usually because he’s omitted some kind of potentially-but-not-neccesarily relevant caveat for the sake of simplicity.
I’ve done this WOD with an olympic bar (modifying it quite a bit, obviously) and with a 16kg kettlebell (equalling Kyle’s score with the dumbell heh heh).
Should be interesting… The overhead squats are the tricky bit if I recall correctly.
Gah- beaten by The Kyle! (shakes fist)
His road-rage induced strength gave him the edge.
