I thought the Irish laughed at the Yanks for their ‘dried meat’ that you can buy at a gas station.
Wish I had me some jerky.
Think I’ll have a crack at making a batch this weekend, I can spare several hours when the return on time invested is a portable, non-perishable source of high-quality protein.
And Kyle, the stuff sold is petrol stations is crap, for the most part.
Damn straight Big Shane (*shakes fist at zombies*)!
might give the ol Jerky making a go myself, spent a lot of time reading Mark’s Daily Apple blog, tis a great website and some of the stuff he has on there is really bloody interesting. Will/Colm/Kyle/everyone else where do you stand on Mark’s blog, most of what he says pretty spot on?
Sorry for not getting down to the gym tonight, had a birtday party to go to (seems like bloody birthday party season at the moment!) but I’ll be down tomorrow to start painting the CrossFit logo and wll I’ll bring the ol shorts and runners and do tomorrow’s workout.
Big Shane, that’s insane, when the apocalypse comes Will is gonna be the first to turn cannibal to ensure his own survival.
Big welcome to Matt from fittsquad.com who came down to the am session, it’s great to see other trainers taking an interest in our programming.
