Fun at the Gymnastics Workshop

Ok, several things. First off a big thanks for gymnastics workshop. A lot of great info and a lot of fun, despite the several aches and pains I woke up with the next day. I look forward to mastering all of the skills we went over. Over the next several years.
Also saw that Murph is the mainsite WOD today and remembered that we have a pullup station now. I further seem to remember suffering through a Murph by myself, so IMHO I think everyone else owes me one. Maybe two.
Finally, someone at work found me a Reeses peanut butter cup. No, I don’t have the skills nor the patience to actually make treats to bring in like Lisa and Amy, but I can bring in highly processed, pre-made, pre-packaged goods. Peanut butter and chocolate, together at last. You will all have some, and you will all enjoy its peanut buttery, chocolatey goodness.
Kyle, what you do with peanut butter and chocolate is your own business, but I run a family gym!!!
Big Shane, I think my video-record-ability improved as the workshop went on, so this weekend I’ll play around with vids.
As for “The Kyle”, when a young man and a grey hoodie entered CF Ireland that faithfully January morning, he opted to do push ups instead of ring dips. When we repeated it, Kyle once again decided to do push ups, so to have a direct comparison. It was then decided that henceforth, we’d have push ups in this workout in lieu of ring dips.
Photo looks great looking forward to watching the video colm , really enjoyed the class on saturday now i just need some space to practice at home.
think I will take a crack at “The Kyle” as I dont think my shoulder will hold up to 200 press ups as part of murph
I think the workout being named “The Kyle” shall definitely lead to some interesting double entendres, so so many are already flooding my brain!
Yep really enjoyed the gymnastics workshop, even though I was terrible at most of what was being taught, but hopefully with a bit of practice I might improve a bit, any improvement of my handstand would be most welcome!
Kyle, I love Reese’s, bring it on, Colm is a philistine who does not truly understand the sheer wonder and joy that is the amalgamation of chocolate and peanut butter!
Pixie, I have no idea what you’re talking about. Everybody loves doing The Kyle. I highly recommend it. You may find it very trying at times, you may want to puke, but in the end you’ll look back and realize that, while it wasn’t pleasant at the time, you are now a better person having done The Kyle.
What’s a double entendre?
I think it’s when 2 people do The Kyle at once.
I’ve created a monster!
I’m resting tonight, but I’m a massive fan of Reeses’ peanut butter cups. I’m going to have to do The Kyle another time. The workout, I mean.
The Kyle: doesn’t go down very easy.
The Kyle: about as pleasant as a kick in the sack.
And finally, The Kyle: for reasons made obvious tonight, CLEARLY not my man.
Wow! Tonight was possibly the most intense workout at CF Ireland I have ever seen.
