  1. Saturday workout scores are the following.

    Shane H: 16.03 (15kg)

    Kyle: 14.41 (Rxd)

    Will: 16.48 (Rxd)

    Tabata Work Scores

    Dan: Pull-ups 6,5,3,3,2,3

    Kyle: Squats 21,20,20,18,17,18

    Will: Push-ups 21,15,11 9,6,5

As a side note on the tabata work for the last round shane called time with 3 seconds to go so scores on the last round do not represent true reflection of self.

  2. Soooooooo. I met pukie today. First time ever and after a 5 mile run. I’m wondering if its from training for the 10 mile race, eating very low carb or a combination of the two. Or mabye just a bug or something I ate. I’m trying to decide what adjustments to make. Any thoughts or just trial and error?

  3. Dang, were you pushing to tunnel-vision and white lights kind of intensity at the time Kyle? Or was it just nausea?

I’d say Shane’s probably on the money with the extreme change in diet angle, sudden and large alterations are always going to make the digestive system confused and unhappy for a while.

  4. Will–the run was tough, really tough but it was more like lead legs than tunnel vision. But afterwards I felt completely wrecked. My heart was still pounding 30 min later.

Shane–It’s hard to say on the intensity of the run. For the first half I felt fine but for the second half felt like I was running through quicksand and it took everything I had just to not stop. On the diet I agree. I knew I was taking on too much but I’ve hit chronic overtraining before and thought as soon as I started feeling like I was overtraining, I’d start scaling back. However, I wasn’t expecting this. The more I think about it, the more I think it was food poisoning or something similar. Just an unfortunate coincidence.

  5. Strong work Chet! I was expecting you to be carrying a sandbag or something, but you went for the real thing.

  6. Cheers Kyle.

Yes, much to the bemusement of ‘the real thing’, lol.

Give it a shot if you get a chance mate, its a lotta fun!
