Well just to be awkward I did a strength day with my new oly weights, cos I had no rings and couldn’t face a metcon after driving down from Dublin.

Last time I did this workout my form started to break down around 65. This time I felt stronger, and it felt like the bar was travelling up OK. Without a form nazi to correct me, though….
I vidoed myself and it looked like I wasn’t quite getting under the bar quick enough, if a delay in bringing my elbows up is an indicator of this. Still, last time the bar was kind of bouncing onto my chest and I was muscling it up into the final position a little bit, that wasn’t happening this time around. When I failed on the second 70 it was just like the bar refused to travel up past my sternum.
Took some pics of the warehouse space I’ve got the weights set up in, I might post ‘em to the Crossfit Ireland facebook group when I get a chance.
So, I did Saturday’s workout today, subbing in pushups for the ring dips.
