November 23rd

Workout:
Shoulder Press
5-5-5-5-5

Cold? Crossfitters don’t feel the cold

Night Squatting

Warming up outdoors with laps of the building and overhead squats

Time between reps does not matter, unless it is extremely protracted, in which case the next rep will be shit anyway. If all 5 reps are technically correct, the set is good. In our strength acquisition model used in SS:BBT, we are primarily concerned with getting all the reps of the set, not so much with how long it takes.

  1. shoulder Press 5-5-5-5-5
    40kgx5
    50kgx5
    60kgx3
    55kgx5
    55kgx5
Failed on 60kg but it will keep till next time
shoulder press is hard done standing with no push or jerk with the legs

  2. 32.5kg, 33.5kg, 34.5kg, 35.5kg, 36.5kg (f), 35.5kg

I only had 10kg plates and a couple of 1kgs and a lot of 0.5kg plates, which is why the weight increases are really small. At least that let me pinpoint where I was hitting failure.
